Everyday I wake up thinking about the different things i will see and learn about throughout the day. After today's class I now look at the majority of my encounters as a text whether its visual, audio, or written. There are so many things that can fall under that category of text. You cant help but see it,especially in this modern day and age. Its can be anything from the tee-shirt your wearing to the billboard you drive past everyday on your way to work to your favorite DJ on your favorite radio station. I'm under the impression text is something fashioned by human beings to convey and idea, message, or feeling. It may pull up a question or perhaps a memory. Anything that provokes even the smallest of thoughts. Sometimes it can be hard to define whats text and whats not. You need to come to terms with your own opinions of what you think text is. What do you consider to be textual? What text will be in your future whether that means tomorrow or next week...or even 5 years from now? Whats Its purpose? What influence does it have on you and why?
